How to use mex command to compile simulink generated code files ?

Hello,

I have some code files for a model generated by Embedded coder in Maltab 2017b. I am working on some application where I need to see weather the generated code (including external dependacies) can be compiled using mex command.

I have tried using below command,

mex <model_name>.c

But the execution gets aborted stating that, undefined reference to '<atomic_subsystem_function_name>' error : Id returned 1 exit status.

Let me know, if this is the correct way of compiling generated code.
