matlab 2018b and ubuntu 18.04

I reinstall os ubuntu 18.04 (before I was using mint 19). I did this: 1) sud ./install (to get root permission). 2)connection internet 3)activate

Now when I want to start matlab i get the splash screen and I need to reboot the machine. I check the owner of the folder .matlab in my home folder and the owner is my user. I give the folder permission a+w but still no luck. If i do in the installation folder/bin ./matlab --nojvm matlab start as terminal without problem, by doing in other way system crash. What is the problem?

in matlab terminal I type ver and it display: Version: 9.5.0.944444 (R2018b) MATLAB License Number: STUDENT Operating System: Linux 4.15.0-34-generic #37-Ubuntu SMP Mon Aug 27 15:21:48 UTC 2018 x86_64 Java Version: Java is not enabled </pre How do I enable Java? Why is java not enable? I have java version 10.0.2
