Solving Non-linear ODE using Finite Element Analysis

Can somebody please here solve a simple example in MATLAB that step by step explains how a Non-linear ODE (Ordinary Differential Equation) be solved using some Finite Element Analysis method(For example steps like Linearization and Newton iterative method)?

There are lot of great examples that are found in MATLAB help of solving Non-linear ODE but I want MATLAB example with some Finite Element Analysis method.

YES I know there are lot of books but if somebody could solve a small non-linear example using finite element analysis method here using MATLAB and explained the mathematics stepwise then it would help lot of new comers like me. thanks
