Using the same Matlab license in two countries

When I try to purchase a license for Matlab, it says in fine print that it is intended for purchase and use in my current region. However, I will be studying in another country starting this Fall and would like to continue using Matlab. Can I purchase a license for Matlab in one region and continue to use it in another region?

The only people who can definitely answer this, are Mathworks employees. Some do occasionally wander to this forum, but most of the time they are off duty when they do. You can contact support with the Contact Us button at the top of the page.

You need to get permission from Mathworks to do that.

If the two regions have different prices then they will probably ask you to pay the higher price.
