In frame difference code, i am using avi reader for reading video. on running this code,i got the warning: " cannot locate Indeo5 compressor,using 'None' as compression type". what does that mean and how can i remove this warning?

If you are using the 32 bit version of MATLAB on MS Windows then you can find an indeo5 compressor online and use it inside 32 bit MATLAB.

If you are using the 64 bit version of MATLAB then there is nothing you can do short of buying out the company that owns the indeo5 patents and use that to try to hack a 64 bit version. The company that owns indeo5 says the indeo5 compressor is obsolete and has parts of it that are inherently only 32 bit so it would not make any economic or technical sense to produce a 64 bit version. The company would prefer that even the 32 bit version went away due to its technical limitations.
