Why do I keep getting errors: No such file or directory when I install Signal Processing toolbox ?

I am trying to install the Signal Processing Toolbox but I constantly get errors stating that: No such file or directory. I created all the folders manually but there are way too many. I am using MATLAB R2018a on Ubuntu 64-bit 16.04LTS. How can I fix this ? Image shown below taken from one of the errors. First error appeared at 30% of the installation.
