display data in "edit text"

I would like to use "edit text" in gui to display value from simulink. I have try some ways, but still cant make it. I need not to used real time update value (event listener). I have try to send the data to workspace and used "evalin" command to read but cannot. Any others simple ways to display it? Thanks for advice in advance.

The data logged in the workspace by simulink is always in array format having values for all the sample time.

Do you want to display all the values or value at any specfic time?

I just need to display the last value.

Without any error pop up, just the edit text in my gui do not display the value.
