how to select multiple files with similar extension

Hello Guys, I have a folder that has a lot of files, how can i ask MATLAB to select just the files with the extension(07) to be run in MATLAB?

try looking at the following function dir

path =pwd;
extension = '.07'
rtnFiles=dir(fullfile(path,['*' extension]))
