Workspace variable statistics don't work
Ältere Kommentare anzeigen
Hi,
I have just upgraded to R2017b and I've noticed that the columns in the Workspace panel don't display anything (except Value, Range, Size, Bytes, Class). Is there a setting that I should change so that I can see the statistics for my variables?
Thanks, Panos

You mean like showing the min and max values? Have you looked in the setting? I don't think I have seen it since something like 2014/2015, but then I didn't really use that feature.

I just tried it out, and it indeed doesn't show any value. Odd. Only size, bytes and class (and value and name) actually show any values.
Maybe someone with R2017a can confirm this is new?

But it cannot be found from the Workspace actions on the top of workspace?

As you can see in Panos' screenshot, the column is already enabled, it is just empty.

Yes Rik, so it is something related to the new version. Maybe if you check the Workspace setting in the 'Preferences' at the Home tab, you find something about this issue.

In the preferences you can modify the maximum size of variables analyzed and whether or not NaNs should be considered in calculation. Changing either or both does not result in the statistics being calculated for a=1:10;, so clearly there is something wrong here.
