Plotting Flying Aircraft path projection on MAP

How to bring digital map on figure axis and synchronize for plotting Latitude & Longitude (ground track) of Aircraft in easiest way. Whether normal Jpg/Jepg map picture could be set or particular formatted MAP is required for the purpose.

if anybody could help with Sample Code, it would help me a lot.
