MPC based optimization using non-uniform sampling

Hello,

Discrete time optimization using Model predictive control usually takes samples at uniform intervals. In my case, due to the complexity of the operation, the solver/matlab is taking more computational time than I would like. Thus, I plan to use non-uniform sampling intervals. How can this be implemented in Matlab?

Did you try building your model in Simulink ? You can select variable-step discrete time solver in the configuration parameters.
