I am currently trying to model an LED light as part of a 3-phase system in Simscape Power Systems. I was trying to simulate an LED driver, but I realized that a driver requires a rectifier and all of the rectifiers I have seen use diodes or a related block which do not work with the current model (which is a phasor simulation). Is there a way to create a rectifier for a phasor simulation? Thank you!

Hello Pauls,
phasor simulation does not support ac-dc conversion. I would recommend modeling the LED driver with a simplified source and similarly simplifying the load when simulating in the phasor simulation. I recommend this example for phasor simulations: https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/51137-one-year-simulation-in-one-minute
Regards,
Joel
