Hi,
I am running MATLAB 2016b on a MacBook Pro Retina running macOS Sierra. I tried to run this code on my computer: http://peterscarfe.com/totallyminimaldemo.html. It is from the Psychophysics Toolbox.
After copying and pasting the code and running it, I did get the gray screen, but the program did not terminate regardless of pressing a key on the keyboard. I use an external Bluetooth keyboard, but the results were the same on the internal or external keyboard. Hitting Command-H did halt the program and made the screen go black, but I could not get out of the script and had to restart the computer.
I read some suggestions on-line. When I enter KbStrokeWait; and hit enter, MATLAB does wait for my key press and then allows me to enter the next code on the command line interface (CLI). It is the same deal when I run KbStrokeWait(-1);. My screen resolution is set to default in the macOS settings. I use a 15" model.
I have read other people experiencing similar issues on-line. Has anybody managed to circumvent this issue?
Thank you, Taylor
