I am calculating arch height and arch length through a digital image by placing markers. when i am introducing image into the MATLAB , the size of the image changes and when i zooming in the image , the lengths changes so Can you tell me any method ?

You can use imdistline. Read about it.

h = imdistline h = imdistline(hparent) h = imdistline(..., x, y)

h = imdistline creates a Distance tool on the current axes. so when i zoom in the image , the current axes will change and size will change . plz tell me descriptively

length will not change....you can drag the line created anyhwere you want and get the length. On zooming the size doesn't change. You can check on your own.
