I have a vsc system which is working as inverter. what changes are to be made in the vsc control so that it can also be work as a rectifier

It depends how the system is implemented, might be a case of changing the control only or might be that the VSC is implemented in such a way that cannot be used as rectifier. Without a model is not easy to tell.
