How to superimpose nonzero matrix elements to a contour plot?

Hi! I need to add a picture of an object above a contour plot. The object picture contains ones and zeros, and I want only the nonzero elements to be shown. A principal figure is shown below. What is the best way of doing this? I must be able to control the coordinates of the object.
