Using student version R2016a required me to use ALL lower case letters when using Greek letters. Thus, I assume there are no capital Greek letter, n'est pas?

AFAIK there's no difference in content of Student version, the only one of your string I had to lower-case was Beta; rest were fine and according to the doc <Interpreter> there are a half-dozen or so included, just Beta isn't one that is...

'Beta' isn't available; 'beta' is. That seems to fix it here...
