I have successfully installed Matlab for Linux. The license is a "designated computer" license which allows any user on the computer to use the license. However, when a user other than the one who installed the license tries to launch Matlab the license manager says the license is unavailable and Matlab never launches.
What do I need to allow all users on the machine to be able to successfully launch Matlab?
Thanks.

This is more a Linux question than a Matlab question. You could try changing the permissions for /matlab
You might need to reinstall as a different user (probably easier than modifying permissions willy-nilly for all the files required to run matlab).

That is not exactly what that license allows.
"Designated Computer. The products may only be activated and used on a single, designated computer, provided the products are operated from that computer's console by one licensed user at any given time."
So you cannot have two different users use the software at the same time.
