How would one display an original image BUT zoomed to a bounding box of interest, so that if required I can zoom out to show the entire original image?

I have segmented an intensity image (mammogram) and have a bounding box for an area of interest. I can display the bounding box area quite easily. My question is how would I display the original image BUT zoomed to the bounding box, so that if required I can zoom out to show the entire original image?
