how to do time alignment and amplitude normalisation for two same voice commands?

i'm doing a project that swithcing the loads on/off depends on voice commands. i struct in time alighnment and amplitude normalization of two same voice commands(ie,.lights on). how to do the time alighnment and amplitude normalization . can u please give me the code for that. thanks in advance
