How to compile CAN communication blocks from Vehicle Network Toolbox to run under Simulink Desktop Realtime in External mode?

I get an error message which complains of an attempt to include 'windows.h'. The images show the subsystem that is causing the problem. Although, which part of it specifically, I don't know.
