Disable variable replacement notification without disabling variable replacement

2 Ansichten (letzte 30 Tage)
I love the Shift+Enter feature to replace variable names, but very often the notification pops up, blocking the next line of code that I'm about to edit.
How can I disable this notification while still maintaining the ability to do variable renaming?
To be clear, to turn off this feature entirely, you could toggle this options: File -> Preferences -> Editor/Debugger -> Language -> Variable & function renaming -> Enable automatic variable and function renaming
But I would like to keep this functionality, just disable the annoying dialogue box that pops up.
Thank you!

Not sure if there's a better solution, but you can simply hit the escape when the dialogue box appears. This keeps your cursor in the same position & removes the dialogue box without you needing to reach for the mouse.
You can do something similar by hitting an arrow key; in your case hitting the down arrow might be desirable. Note that if you press (right arrow) then (left arrow) the box will pop up again.
Hope this helps.
