Is there a built in function called BoundMirrorExpand(). If yes for what it is used for and what does the following code means?

f =  BoundMirrorExpand(BoundMirrorExpand(BoundMirrorExpand(BoundMirrorExpand(f))));

Here f represents an noisy image.
