Is there a certain amount of time before the license should show up? When I type the license number in it says that it is an invalid license

I just purchased the student version of matlab, and am trying to figure out how to activate it on my laptop. Is there a certain amount of time before the license should show up? When I type the license number in it says that it is an invalid license

I would think it should be ready but we don't know. All licensing and installation questions should be directed to the Mathworks, not this forum, who will solve your issue over the phone for free, even for the student edition.

I have the same problem with licensing. I've just installed and activated the product, but some of the apps are not available even though I've purchased them. Also, I have a note when I open Matlab and that is _ Your MATLAB license will expire in 12 days. Please contact your system administrator or MathWorks to renew this license. _ Have you solved your problem? I'm trying to reach them on the phone but the line is busy.

I did figure it out- I called the customer support number and they helped me figure it out. They said it must have been some kind of glitch in the system because it hadn't updated my account with the proper license. He managed to solve it within 20 minutes.
