Sigma delta modulator

Can someone help me with designing 2nd order sigma delta modulator? Also how is the SQNR to be determined?

Hi Visveswaran,

Using the Delta Sigma Modulator block present in Simulink, you can design a 2nd order delta sigma modulator. You can refer this documentation to understand further and which parameters to enable to obtain your desired information.

However, using this block you can predict SNR and not SQNR. To calculate SQNR you would have to do it manually with the output quantOut from the block and use the formula to calculate the SQNR of the signal.
