Theory / Literature for "full flux modeling" in thermal liquid system

Could someone suggest some books or literature regarding the theory of "full-flux modeling" method or the control volume analysis which is the basis for the thermal liquid systems modeling in Simscape. It seems that I know the things but I am unable to figure it out accurately how the equations for thermal liquid blocks work.
