Where can I learn about the laplace and inverse laplace transform of differential equations and tuning of controllers in feedback control loops applied in MATLAB ?

Anyone with relevant experience, please refer a resource from where i can learn to use laplace transform and inverse laplace transform of differential equations in MATLAB.Also, a good source for beginners to learn about Simulink and tuning of P, PI, PID controllers and observing, plotting and manipulating their response.

what I aim to get is an elaborate source,a book perhaps, which explains the implementation of the aforementioned in MATLAB for beginners. I have never used MATLAB for Control process and don't have a foggiest notion of Simulink.Still, appreciate your help.
