Automatically setting MATLAB exporting figure options

I have a graph which looks pretty good after the plot command on MATLAB. But when I use the print command to save it on .png the fontsize increases automatically. I know I can deal with this by hand if I go to copy options -> figure copy template but I wish to change this automatically in my script. Is there a way?
