im working on a simulation to make a "Live" comperation between a prerecorded signal, and a new signal as it is being mesured.
this requires that i can save and then input the entire messured signal, into the function block, the simplest solution for this seemed to be the MUX or vector cat block, but both result in an error.
picture for reference.
thanks for help.

Use a "constant" block https://www.mathworks.com/help/simulink/slref/constant.html to import the pre-recorded signal.
Note: you might also need a buffer block https://www.mathworks.com/help/dsp/ref/buffer.html to hold the equivalent length of input signal. In that regard you might want to use a large "buffer overlap"
