Matlab script for excel file.

i have loaded the excel file in matlab script, and also i have founded the maximum value, but i need the either side value of maximum value should be display in command window. please help me friends.

  if temp(i,1:2)==var
   disp=var(i,1:2)
   else
   i=i+1;
  end
end

Say that temp is the file where u have all ur data and var is the data when u get the highest value.
