Problem while using HDL Workflow Advisor in MATLAB for the standard LED blink example, specifically targeting the Versal VCK190 board
Ältere Kommentare anzeigen
I am new to FPGA programming and attempting to use the HDL Workflow Advisor in MATLAB for the standard LED blink example, specifically targeting the Versal VCK190 board. I am encountering a couple of issues:-
- The Reference Design option in the Set Target section of the HDL Workflow Advisor is not enabled or highlighted (it defaults to "visible").
- The Reference Design Parameters options, such as Insert AXI Manager and FPGA Data Capture, are missing or unavailable.
I am using Ubuntu 18.04.6 LTS, MATLAB R2022a, and Vivado 2020.2. I am referring to the MathWorks documentation for guidance: Getting Started with Targeting Xilinx Versal ACAP Platform.
Could you provide steps to troubleshoot these issues?

Hi Gaurav,
It seems the Reference Design parameters options are absent and you cannot change Reference Design to Default System. I looked over the release notes to see if this problem had been resolved, and the r2022b release has this rectified. The same information can be found here:

Therefore, installing the r2022b release can be a remedy for this problem.
