I want to run a compiled stand-alone application on computers which do not have MATLAB installed. Can I install my MATLAB compiler on those computers without any license limit?

A compiled stand-alone application should not need the compiler installed on the machine to run.

There is sometimes a misconception between the MATLAB Compiler product and the MCR.
You can see the MATLAB Compiler as a toolbox for MATLAB that allows you to e.g. create stand-alone applications.
You can then take those EXEs plus the MATLAB runtime (MCR) to install and run that EXE on other - MATLAB-less - machines. There are no extra costs involved.

It's called MCR. If you are creating GUI, then in deploytool, on top bar you will find a check box to "include" MCR. So if you include the MCR which is around 450 MB in size, will make your .exe GUI work on any computer where the user should 1st install MCR within that package.
