Change skyplot() azimuth cuts

I'm working on comparing two different generations of the same skyplot (one using matlab and other from another source). They have the same data but the matlab one has 30° azimuth cuts and the other has 45° azimuth cuts. I'm presenting them side by side and although you can approximate how similar they are to one another, it would look better if they had the same cuts. Is there anyway to change the azimuth axis (cuts) in the matlab skyplot function?

(Unfortunately) No, there does not seem to be any such property for the skyplotchart object, which can be modified.
It is a standalone visualization - it has preconfigured axes object built into it, and many customizations are not available.
