Need Help Activating Matlab on Linux Despite Valid License

9 Ansichten (letzte 30 Tage)
Hello, I'm currently following the instructions on this website: [link to the website] to install Matlab on my Linux system. I've successfully executed the command ./activate_matlab.sh, but encountered an error as depicted in the attached screenshot.
I'm seeking guidance on the next steps to successfully activate and use Matlab on my Linux computer. It's worth noting that my license is in good standing, as I am currently using Matlab on my Windows system without any issues. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

If I recall correctly, one of the steps in the Installer asks if you want to create a symbolic link to allow easier access to running MATLAB. If you didn't select to create that link, I'd look in the default location listed on this documentation page (or if you changed that when you installed, look where you told the installer to install MATLAB.)

From the second of the documentation pages I linked above:
"If you did not set up symbolic links in the installation procedure, then type matlabroot/bin/matlab. matlabroot is the name of the folder in which you installed MATLAB."
In this case, matlabroot is /usr/local/MATLAB/R2023b. Or since you're in that directory already, just run ./bin/matlab
