Export SimBiology model diagram

R Andreev on 18 Mai 2021 asked, if it is possible to programmatically export the SimBiology model diagrams. I would like to do this programatically within MATLAB. A staff member replied that this was planned for the 2021 b release. Has this functionality been added yet? I cannot seem to find any documentation about it.

Hi, Johannes,

In R2021b, we added support for exporting the diagram as a pdf or image file, but still from within the SimBiology Model Builder app:

If a model is currently open in the Model Builder, then you can modify the diagram programmatically, and the changes will be reflected in the diagram embedded in the app:

Working with diagrams independently of the Model Builder is not currently possible, but we will definitely consider this when working on future enhancments. If you can share more about your use cases for exporting diagrams programmatically, we would love to hear about it.
