Hi Lijin,

This error means MATLAB can’t resolve the hostname of your license server.

Make sure you’re connected to your VPN if needed, then try pinging the server’s hostname from your command line. If the ping fails, you may need to update your license file to use the server’s IP address or contact your system administrator/IT. If the ping works but MATLAB still can’t connect, a firewall may be blocking the connection.
