The Amplitude and Phase measurements of the controlled current source as a load
In my model I am using the Simscape - controlled current source as the load and the sinusoidal waveform (created with the help form Simulink components) with the peak value of 2A is presented at the physical signal port of the current source.
Circuit with controlled current source as the load
As you can see the output current is sinusoidal (upper plot) with the frequency of 60Hz.
The issue is with the PS Harmonic Estimator (Amplitude and Phase). As you can see the amplitude (upper left) and the phase angle (lower left) cannot be properly measured by the the PS Harmonic Estimator (Amplitude and Phase).
On the other hand, when I have used the constant current load model readily available in Simscape. The results are satisfactory.
Circuit with constant current load
Current and voltage plots are as same as the above circuit.
The PS Harmonic Estimator (Amplitude and Phase) working properly in this case.
Amplitude measured is 2A. and the angle is -3.14.
I am just wondering what the issue with the controlled current source is.

the images your provided don't have enough resolution for me to see what is going on. Can you share your models?

Hi Nachiappan,
I understand that you would like to plot the amplitude and phase of the "Current Sensor" block and "Voltage Sensor" block. The unexpected outputs are caused due to the input of the current source. The Frequency and Time solver cannot detect the frequency (60 Hz) which is defined in the Simulink blocks and hence it gives unexpected output.
To resolve the issue, the sinusoidal waveform should be generated using the 'PS Sine Wave' block from Simscape -> Physical Signals -> Sources.
Hope this helps!
