Normalisation through MMSE Equalizer

Hello,

I am trying to simulate a 5G DL PDSCH. When equalising the symbols, I noticed that the signal energy changes after the MMSE equaliser. I did not find any information about this in the Matlab description of the nrEqualizeMMSE.

Is it correct that the MMSE equaliser normalises the symbols to 1? Can I read about this somewhere?
