- You could try to modify the filter settings, To do this, click on the "import data" button in the Home tab, and then select the .tsv file from the file browser. In the Import Wizard, click on the "More Options" button, and then select "All Files" in the "Files of Type" field. This will display all files, including .tsv files, in the file browser.
- Another potential workaround could be to associate .tsv files with Import Tool: You can associate .tsv files with the Import Tool so that they open automatically when you double-click on them. To do this, right-click on a .tsv file, click "Open With", and then select "Choose another app". In the "How do you want to open this file?" dialog box, select the Import Tool and check the "Always use this app to open .tsv files" box. Click "OK" to save the changes.
- You can also convert .tsv files to .csv files using a text editor/spreadhseet and then try importing them.

I used to be able to use the Import GUI to automatically import .tsv files -- i found this to be helpful to generate an import function easily. However, recently i found I was unable to, even when I click the options button and select all readable files, i'm unable to select tsv files. What gives?

I am assuming the problem points to .tsv files not being present under the view filter upon selecting the options button.
