How to calculate a weighted mean for a selected area in an image?

Hi, I would like to calculate a weighted mean for a group of pixels in an image. Thanks, HM

I also have similar questions. I want to get the man value of all pixels for a globle raster data. Considering the different area of the pixels across the world, how can I assign each pixel a weight according to how large they are?
