I am trying to create a model of an externally fired gas turbine in Simulink. Unfortunately I cannot find something else in the literature except the Rowen's model which is based on an internal fired gas turbine.
The below mentioned picture mentions the process and as you can see the cobustion chamber is after the gas turbine whereas the exhaust of the turbine is mixed with the combusted fuel. The inlet gas of the turbine is heated by an recuparator (heat exchanger) which transfers heat from the combustion chamber's exhaust gases.
Could anybody help me to create it?
Thank you in advance!

Do you have access to Simscape as well? If so, keep reading:
The closest I can think of is the Engine Cooling Model entry on File Exchange, which models similar thermodynamic systems using Simscape. This example uses liquid instead of gas, though.
There's also a two-phase example of a Refrigeration Cycle , which might also help.
