M = 4;
data = randi([0 3], N, M);
txSig = otfsmod(data, N, M);
the Error in txSig = otfsmod(data, N, M); !

Where did you find this function ? It seems it is not an official MATLAB function.

otfsmod not found. Use the Help browser search field to search the documentation, or type "help help" for help command options, such as help for methods.

otfsmod
This might be not inbuilt MATLAB funtion. It suppose to be external custom function. Please confirm the source of the function.
