How to have function window show over command window?

Everytime I open a new script it is opened as a new window instead of a tab over the command window. 2022 version

Click the little 'downward pointing triangle' on the right top of title bar. Then select the "dock" option.

I am not sure about the Mac OS. It's all about the Dock/Undock issue in Matlab.
