Hello I have a question for you, I would be very grateful if you could answer me. In the Simulink section in 2022 version, there is an example titled six-phase pmsm velocity control. Why are z1, z2, d values considered zero inside the outer loop control part? Can you help me with motor control in field weakening and series master-slave control?

The control is done below the base speed. The model is obtained by applying the coordinate transformation such that the q-axis is the torque component, d-axis is the flux component, and the other are zero components. Therefore, by controlling the q-axis current we can control the torque. If we want to go above base speed, we need to start adjusting the d-axis current in a similar fashion as for the three-phase motor. The z1 and z2 components are some zero components that in normal operation might be all right to ignore. However, in some situations we might want to have the freedom to control z1 and z2 but they will not directly impact the torque.

Do you have any information about series master-slave control of six-phase pmsm motors? How about the control of these motors in the field weakening area? Thank you for your guidance.
