how to recognize 3-dimensional part using image processing

i need to extract and recognize features from an 3-dimensional art drawing image using image processing.... help me out...

• step 1---->Extract the features from 3-D art(for all images)
• step 2---->Select a classifier like ANN ,SVM
• step 3---->train the features in classifier
• * step 4---->While testing select a image ad extract the same features and test in classifier
• SVM -recognition
