I'm looking a tool to plot a weighted, directed graph, specifically one represented by a 44-by-44 matrix having nonnegative entries. I'm allowing for self-loops.
Whether the plot has actual arrows is not that important to me--I just want something that conveys the overall strength of directed associations.
I know about wgplot for weighted graphs, but I need something that also shows directionality.

Perhaps gplotcolor.m or gplotpoly could help? The latter is more flexible, but it requires you to download a few of my other functions as well. (I'm in the process of moving my code off of that website and onto GitHub, with all dependencies packaged together, but that one hasn't been moved yet, sorry).

Thanks so much. I just tried out the gplotcolor.m and feel it shouldn't be too hard to visually convey the weight magnitudes by adjusting the values of cmap.
Just to make sure I understand the convention: A counter-clockwise connecting points A and B indicates the arc is directed FROM A to B.

For future reference, if you're using release R2015b or later I recommend creating a digraph object and calling plot on it.
