Counting white areas in30 video frames (30 frames). For example I have 30 binary images and just there are 5 images contain on white area in center and other images are black.

 how can I write code to count white areas (5 white areas in center) from 30 frames images. I need to make video to count these white areas.

Basically it's just two lines of code: threshold the image and call bwlabel() to count them

% Threshold to get a binary image representing white areas.
binaryImage = grayImage > 200; % or whatever value works
% Now count the number of distinct white areas
[~, numberOfWhiteAreas(frameIndex)] = bwlabel(binaryImage);

Have that in a loop over frameIndex where you go from the first frame to the last frame (or whatever frames you want to loop over). The output array, numberOfWhiteAreas, will contain the number of distinct white areas as a function of frame number in your video.

I assume, you have binary image and object is the white and in each image contain 1 object only.

...

SM = sum(sum(bwimage));   %bwimage is your binary image

if(SM>0)

     AREA(m) = bwarea(bwimage);

end

.... end process, go to next loop.....

Now you have all area data of all image contain in 'AREA' variable.
