Sharing MATlab codes (.m files)

I am about to do a MATlab project and my team is working on different parts. If for example we all use different functions or toolboxes, will they be able to run my code if I send it to them? Or will I be able to run theirs when they send their code to me? Or at the end when we copy paste all out codes together will it work? All of us are using R2020b
