Error Starting Desktop on Arch Linux

Hi,

I am a beginner in working with Arch Linux. I have installed MATLAB R2021b on Arch and it seems it is installed properly. However, When I run it through the terminal, first this message appears in the terminal "matlab is selecting software opengl rendering" and then, MATLAB opens with this error "Error Starting Desktop". I have no idea about this problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @Zahra Kazemi,

According to the system requirements for MATLAB R2021b, Arch Linux is not listed among the officially supported distributions of Linux. Using a different Linux distro such as Ubuntu will resolve your issue.
