How Can I call a function written in CCSv6 in MATLAB Simulink ?

I have an accelerometer attached to the SPI input of the F28335 controller. I have tested and read the output of this accelerometer in CCSv6. However, I want to port this code over to MATLAB Simulink and take advantage of the support package for C2000 MCU(s). Thus, I want to call and read the outputs of the same functions that I have written in CCSv6 in MATLAB and Simulink.

Please Advise.
